The Edward J. “Ed” Langton Scholarship is named in honor of Grand Bank's CEO and will be awarded annually to a Pine Belt area high school student based on academic excellence, community involvement and need for financial assistance.

The student must be from the Pine Belt area and accepted as a full-time student to a 2 or 4-year college in Mississippi.

One graduating senior will be selected each year by a committee of Grand Bank employees and will receive $1,000 to use towards college tuition.

Completed applications must be delivered to any Grand Bank location by 4:30 p.m. on March 1, 2010.
